Clem Dallaway, 40, set up a camera in a function room of his local community centre after staff reported strange goings on, including broken furniture and belongings going missing.

His recording in the Abbeydale Community Centre in Redditch, Worcs., appears to show a stroppy spectre causing mischief after hours.

He set the camera up in the centre on Friday which appeared to show a door opening on its own and a chair being scraped backwards.
The eerie footage ends with the camera being shoved on the floor.

Since the 1.23-minute clip was uploaded onto Mr Dallaway's Facebook page it has attracted more than 9,000 hits.

Mr Dallaway, from Redditch, said: "All I know is that customers and members of staff have heard bangs, footsteps and the same door, which leads to the skittle alley, opening.

"There have been a few reports of people hearing bangs in the club, including members of staff.

The door seemingly opens by itself in the empty room

"I put the camera in the main function room and didn't really expect to capture anything but when I went in the next day it was lying on the floor.

"I thought it must have fallen over by itself but when I looked through the footage moments before the camera went over the door opened and a chair moved.
